Library cards are free. There are no residency requirements.
Please bring a photo identification with your name and current address.
We will ask for your name, address, phone number, cell phone number, and email address.

Loan periods/Fines/Fees

• Books, audio books: 2 weeks
• DVDS, videos, CDs: 1 week

Archives do not circulate: Please call the Library to make an appointment to use the archives: 323.761.8644.

Periodicals and journals do not circulate. You may make photocopies of articles at the Library.

The JCLLA offers a service to meet your need for convenience. If you cannot get to the Library because of a health issue or you live too far away, take advantage of @ YOUR DOOR.

The Jewish Community Library of Los Angeles charges the following overdue fines:

• Books: .10/day /item
• Videos, DVDs, CDs, audio cassettes, audio books: .25/day/item

Lost or damaged items must be replaced by borrower. Borrower will pay the cost of the item plus shipping and handling. The borrower may not replace the item by purchasing the lost or missing item to donate to the Library.

The Jewish Community Library of Los Angeles is proud of its collection and the fact that we are a free, circulating Library for all. We ask that you take responsibility for your Library items and return them in the condition in which you checked them out.

Please rewind videos (you will be charged $1 if you do not) and make sure they are returned in the proper case. Make sure all bookmarks are taken out of the books and that the books you are returning to the JCLLA belong to the JCLLA.
